Art.

More, more, more Art

On Friday I reaped the benefits of a PwC ‘firm’ public holiday to celebrate the end of (our) financial year. A day earlier, flipping through the local Time Out magazine I picked up an article about another arts district a little further out of Beijing. For me that’s how I’ve uncovered most of what I have to make up my “Beijing experience.” So off I went, ripped out the address, took a punt venturing into the suburbs, avoided getting lost, and discovered a new arts village, in Beijing's east - Song Zhuang, Tongzhou. Afterwards with a little time to spare before Shabbat, I traipsed back to 798 one last time to catch a glimpse of a new exhibition, Indian Highway, at the UCCA. (My favourite however has to be the art plastered on the walls and the people in the streets, take a look).
